What it is
Orca is an agent orchestrator that lets you run Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Pi and any other CLI agent side by side, each in its own isolated git worktree and tracked in one place. It ships as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, with an iOS/Android companion app for monitoring and steering agents. It adds terminals, an embedded browser, GitHub and Linear integration, diff annotation and a scriptable CLI.
Who it's for
- Developers who want to run several coding agents in parallel and compare results across isolated worktrees
- Developers who want to run agents on a remote machine over SSH
- Users of Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi or other terminal-based agents who want one place to track them
Requirements
Requirements
- Desktop: macOS, Windows or Linux
- A CLI agent that runs in a terminal (the README lists Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi and many others)
- For the mobile companion: pairing with the desktop app (iOS App Store or Android APK)
Setup
Download the desktop app
Download from onOrca.dev, or grab a build directly from the GitHub releases (macOS Apple Silicon/Intel, Windows .exe, Linux AppImage).
Install via package manager
Install with Homebrew on macOS, or from the AUR on Arch Linux (use stably-orca-git to build from source).

Examples
Create a worktree from the Orca CLI
bashorca worktree createWhat it does: The README names orca worktree create as one of the commands agents and scripts can use to drive Orca; arguments are not given in the source.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Pro:Works with any CLI agent that runs in a terminal, with a long list of named supported agents
- Pro:Each agent runs in its own isolated git worktree, so one prompt can be fanned across several agents and results compared
- Pro:Covers desktop, mobile companion and remote SSH worktrees, plus a scriptable Orca CLI
- Pro:Free and open source under the MIT License
Cons
- Con:The mobile companion requires pairing with a desktop host; the Android build is distributed as an APK rather than a store listing
- Con:The README says features ship daily and its list is perpetually behind, so the changelog is the real feature list
- Con:Anonymous usage data is collected (telemetry docs describe what and how to opt out)
